Garaoke Entertainment Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)About Garaoke A few common questions I get are: Q: When is Garaoke available? A: The answer to that question is always changing as we're booking events all the time. If you have a date in mind, call or email and we'll let you know if that date is available. I will tell you that we're available 7 days a week! Q: Do you just play Karaoke? A: Definitely not! Karaoke is just one of the many options we have to offer you! We can play awesome music for you and your guests to dance the night away to if that's what you prefer! We can do games and contests! We can even do custom music mixes that are a blast! Q: What kind of games and contests are you talking about? A: Dance contests, singing contests, battle of the bands, wedding party games, birthday party games, we've got several that we can suggest, or if you have an idea for a game or contest we can probably incorporate it into your event. Q: What kind of music do you play? A: What kind do you want? We have more music than you can shake a stick at. (Honestly, I don't know what that means!) The truth is, we have tens of thousands of songs of all different genres (Rock-n-Roll to Reggae, Big Band to Disco, Country to Hip-Hop, and more)! AND, if we don't have specific songs you want for an event, we'll do everything we can to get it before hand! Keep in mind that EVERY DJ has his or her forte', or expertise, in genres of music that they play! Not every DJ is an expert in ALL genres! If you have questions as to my area of expertise, please don't hesitate to ask. Q: Do you use CD's, tapes, records, or what? A: All the music material we get is transferred to digital format and stored on computer hard drives and backed up on portable external hard drives. We also always run two separate systems at one time so that there is very little chance of any glitches or down time. Backed up, redundant, and reliable. Backed up, redundant, and reliable. Did I mention, "Backed up, redundant, and reliable"? ... No matter what, the show will go on! Q: Do you have any lighting or effects? A: Yes we do! Lighting can add so much to an event! It can set the tone and mood of a party. Garaoke offers some of the best high tech lighting around. We've got spots, strobes, leds, moonflowers, lasers, up lighting, fog, and just like all our equipment, we're constantly upgrading. We've also got all the truss or T-bars you can ask for to mount the lights on. Bottom line is, we can put on one heck of a show for you! So, that gives you some answers to some common questions but if you've got a question that wasn't answered here, please don't hesitate to call or email!
